American Discount Tire

Looking for an American Discount Tire?  If so, you could be looking for one of two things, you could be looking for an actual store called American Discount Tire, or more likely you’re looking for a Discount Tire location near you.

Discount Tire is America’s largest independent tire dealer and they have been ever since 1960.  They offer many different sized tires from brands such as Cooper, Falken, Carlisle, BF Goodrich, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Michelin and many others.  They are such a large chain that they have over 725 stores in about 26 different U.S. states so chances are you’ll be able to find one close by.

In case you’re not sure if one is in your area, here is a quick list of where you can find an American Discount Tire:

Tennessee, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada,  Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Indiana, New Mexico, Ohio and Michigan.

Now if you don’t happen to live in any of these states, that’s not a problem either, you can purchase from them online, in fact, it may be preferable to do so as sometimes you can get promotions online and discounts you wouldn’t otherwise. 

When you order online, you just have to be sure you know all the specifications of the parts that you’re ordering so that you don’t wind up with wheels that don’t fit your car.  Once you have your wheel measurements, it’s just a matter of placing the order, paying for it as well as the shipping and waiting for it to arrive. 

Now one thing you’re going to want to keep in mind is how much you’re willing to pay, as discounts come in a variety of different price ranges.  But if you’re new to buying wheels and you want to ensure you pick up a good pair, I would suggest you spend at least $150 per wheel so that you wind up with a decent set.  Sure price isn’t always a good determinant of the quality of the tire, but usually tires over this price range are at least somewhat decent and aren’t going to be so bad that safety will be an issue with them.

So if you’re looking to pick something up from American Discount Tire, be sure to do a little research on the kinds of tires that would go with the car that you have and try and see if there are any reviews for the tires so you can get an idea of what they are like when installed. 

Once you’ve ordered your wheels from an American Discount Tire location, your next step will be to install them.  If you went directly to the store, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem, however if you bought online, you will need to find an installer in your area who is up to the task.
